*2021 Pocono Builders Association – Residential Bath Remodel
Homeowners in South Stroudsburg needed a larger bathroom. Wanting to keep a rustic flair to blend in with their home built in 1938, they changed an unused room into a spacious, spa-like bathroom. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with pebbled tile floor and multi-color tiled wall with 2 niches, rain shower and hand-held shower heads. The soaking tub sits in front of the window allowing one to take in the view of their back yard for a relaxing soak. The vanity was custom built from rough sawn lumber and completed with a quartz countertop and vintage faucets and knobs. The water closet is showcased as an outhouse with a rough sawn lumber door complete with crescent moon cut out and a corrugated metal roof. The finishing touches include the corrugated metal wainscoting which is framed with custom rough sawn lumber trim and custom built rough sawn barn door for the closet.
