Interior & Exterior Renovation & Addition to a Vacation Home in Pocono Lake

Located in a private lakefront community, this 242 square foot addition added a much needed second bedroom and second bath to an existing 1-story vacation home while also finishing a full gut renovation. This project started when the owners needed someone to help them after discovering water damage and mold problems. With a full-gut and remediation treatment already in place, we designed the bedroom and bath addition which included a new covered porch and refinished exterior that really updated and increased the curb appeal of this home. Inside, the existing bath was refinished and converted into an on-suite layout and the kitchen was updated with a counter height breakfast bar and a contemporary two-tone cabinet color scheme and stylish tile backsplash. The clean and modern color palate neatly tied the addition and existing space together into a cohesive design that expertly blends the old with the new.
