The Living room of this home was becoming too small for this growing family, and they realized that they needed a bigger space that could accommodate everyone. It was important that the flow of the existing home remained and that the new space provided a light and open feeling. By removing the existing front triple window, we were able to efficiently add a 401 square-foot Living Room with a volume ceiling and lots of windows, above a new two-car garage connected to the existing basement. The addition also created the opportunity for the existing garage door to be filled in with a new bay window allowing this to be converted into a future finished space. New energy efficient windows, crisp gray siding and a re-shingled roof made this home even better than new!
