Custom Creekside A-frame Cabin in Cresco

These customers came to us with a vision! Create a home with a classic, Poconos A-frame look but give us enough interior space to easily entertain family and friends. By modifying the typical A-frame design with a 2-story bump out, we were able to create 2,037 square feet of space and provide 3-full height bedrooms and 2-full height baths along with a Loft overlooking a massive volume ceilinged space below. The main space flows freely from the kitchen and dining area at the front of the house to the living area and deck at the rear. The front and rear window walls are filled with custom, clear glass geometric windows in a classic A-frame layout. By using clear coated, natural wood railings and beams for interior accents and wood decks on the exterior, we were able to create a connection to the outside spaces that blur the line between interior and exterior as you look out the window walls to the natural beauty of the site. This contemporary A-frame is perfectly perched on a creek-side site and features a raised, rear deck and rooftop owner’s porch, perfectly situated to take advantage of the peaceful, babbling creek that meanders along the rear of the property.
