Caledonia Home Design in Reeders

This teardown/rebuild created a new 2,051 square foot, 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home featuring a two-story great room with exceptional lake views. This project took a small, functionally obsolete home and turned it into a new home that will surely make all the neighbors jealous! When you walk into this home from the covered entry you are immediately hit with a stunning view straight into the two-story great room and out to the lake beyond. To your left is an office space with double French doors. To your right is the first-floor Owner’s Suite, which is the first of the 3-bedrooms and 2.5 baths offered in this design. The Owner’s Bedroom is spacious and features a large walk-in closet and a beautifully appointed Owner’s Bath with a double vanity and shower with marbled tile walls. The focal point of the two-story great room is a stone fireplace flanked by upper and lower windows which bring in plenty of natural light and offer spectacular views. Adjacent to the great room is the kitchen and dining area with access to a raised deck from a sliding glass door. Opposite the fireplace is a beautifully crafted stair with craftsman style railing leading to a loft overlooking the great room. The two upper-level bedrooms are generously sized and feature walk-in closets. Their location on the second floor allows for an enhanced degree of privacy from the Owner’s Bedroom below. The outside of the home is a neutral gray with wide, white trim highlighting the windows and board and batten accents in the front-facing gables.
